Mam Tor and The Great Ridge in Early Summer

Mam Tor and The Great Ridge in Early Summer

We popped out for a walk today along the Great Ridge above Castleton. We started at the Mam Tor end and made it to Back Tor. We’d normally go all the way to Lose Hill but the light wasn’t great and it started to get cloudy just before we arrives. We did manage to get a few good shots of mam Tor, The ridge, Back Tor and of course some sheep!

Enjoy your weekend but remember that if you do walk Mam Tor and The Great Ridge at this time of year it can be very busy. But then that’s because of how wonderful the views are.
