Gallery From Our Walk On Curbar Edge

Gallery From Our Walk On Curbar Edge

We took a walk through Curbar Woods to Curbar Edge and Baslow Edge yesterday. That took in Curbar Gap, Eagle Flats, the Eagle Stone and the Wellington Memorial. It was a bit cold but certainly blew the cobwebs away! Even though the weather was a bit dull at times it wasn’t too bad for photography and we saw several deer (briefly) and the one pictured in the gallery just on the edge of Curbar sharing a field with a horse.

It’s a pleasant walk and not too challenging though the woods are getting a bit wet at this time of year and the path is very muddy and slippery in places so take care.
