A Winter Walk around Derwent and Howden Reservoirs

Walking in the upper Derwent Valley around the Derwent and Howden Reservoirs is one of our “stock walks”. if the weather’s a bit iffy and not overly great for photography, or if we just want to get a few miles in on paths that are not too challenging then you’ll often find us there. We’ve already written about it briefly, here, and I suppose we ought to write a more detailed description of the 17km circular route. For now here are a few more images of today’s walk for you to enjoy.
